THE WIZARD OF OOZE

This was the second full-length feature, and probably one of the worse, as far as meeting the expectations of what it was envisioned to be. The second film was was to be a triumph, a musical spectatular with clever songs and improved cinematography. However, while amusing, the story is a loose parody of the original film. In fact, the second half was never filmed and the ending was pieced together. Scheduling problems and cancellations by the leading actress also caused the production to have further difficulties and a rushed ending. It was started in Fall 1990 and re-continued in Spring 1991, which by that time the cast was difficult to reassemble. In the interim of winter, "A Business Carol" was produced, which went on to be produced as a play and again as a film. This only proves that some work, some don't.
