Joann
is Joann Briars, Bryce's spacey mom who dresses like a drunken
peacock. She works at an advertising firm and her masters marketing
project in college was an ad campaign directed at women promoting an
alcoholic beverage just for them: "Fembrew - when it's that
time of the month, it's Fembrew time. Period."
Joann Phillips has worked in marketing and public relations for 20 years, for the past 3 1/2 as alumni director for Indiana University South Bend. She is completing a master's degree in liberal studies and plans to pursue a second master's in social work. She is a mom to two daughters and grandma to two grand-daughters. She lives on a farm in Niles, Michigan with her husband and two dogs.
