This Australian college student came all the way to the U.S. on a tennis scholarship, but thanks to the internet he's discovering a whole new racket in the modeling biz... Where did you grow up? I grew up in a small, country town (Nanango) in Australia where I lived out in the bush/forest area with my two older brothers and parents. It was a town with very little to offer, but nice enough for a kid to grow up in. In 1996, my parents separated and I went to live in the City of Brisbane, the State of Queensland's Capital, to attend Kelvin Grove State High School's "School of Excellence in Tennis" program. Brisbane is a fairly big city and I loved it there and after a while I seemed to be transformed from country bumpkin to city boy in a matter of months. What brought you to the U.S.? It was a full tennis scholarship offer in Mississippi that brought me to the US. I had always wanted to go to a university in the
U.S. since I was 14 and was so happy when an offer came from Alcorn State University. I have been in MS for almost a year and have come to realize it isn't the place for me, despite it being a very strong learning curb in my life with all the cultural differences
